Engineers Club Education Foundation/Larry Lewis Scholarship
The Engineers Club Education Foundation makes low-interest loans for College expenses to high school seniors who intend to pursue an engineering education. In June of each year loans are made to four or five students based on academic achievement, SAT scorers, civic and extra-curricular activities, financial need, and a personal interview with the Trustees. In addition the Trustees select the most outstanding student of those interviewed to receive the Larry Lewis Scholarship, a grant of $2000.00. The Scholarship was established in 2000 in memory of Larry Lewis, a past-President of the Engineers Club and past-Chairman of the Trustees who was particularly interested in furthering engineering education.
