Executive Committee
Comprised of Board members, the Executive Committee investigates and discusses issues facing the Club in order to prepare presentations and recommendations for the full Board

Associate Society Council
Addresses the needs of the associate societies, serve as a clearing house for associate societies, and support and encourage associate societies to support programs and activities at the Engineers Club.

Community Outreach & Public Service
Promotes the common good and the Club through community involvement. Our diverse membership of professionals provides a unique pool of public service potential. The committee identifies areas, organizations and agencies that can benefit from Club members' collective abilities; matching social needs to our members' knowledge, talent and contacts.

Corporate and Media Communications
Promotes corporate memberships and events, acts as a liaison between the Club and the media.

Financial Advisory
Recommends policy and reviews procedures concerning the financial and business aspects of the Club.

House & Maintenance
Works with the Club management concerning the ongoing maintenance of the mansion and its systems and develops plans for long-range projects and capital improvements. Consults with professionals regarding the furnishings, interior and exterior of the mansion to ensure any changes are in keeping with its historical heritage.

Education Enrichment
Provides leadership in supporting, organizing and managing continuing educational activities that serve the interests and needs of Club members, associate societies and other organizations in the areas of professional certification and renewal, personal professional development, business and technical skill and knowledge-based development.

Membership Empowerment & Development
Develops new strategies to increase and promote the benefits of membership to potential individuals and corporations; to act as ambassadors to the membership and actively represent the club at networking and business events. Prepares and reviews membership applications for Board approval.

ESB/GJMEF Joint Committee
Mission: to coordinate joint programs and planning for the Mansion and the Club.

Arts & Entertainment
This committee works with Club staff to provide entertainment and social programs for members and their guests.

Young Professionals
Promotes and encourages young professionals under the age of 45 to be active and participate in Club events and activities, designs and implements social activities geared to the young member and assists with young Membership Drives and act as ambassadors/liaisons for The Club.

Engineers Week Council
Plans and promotes activities for the annual observance of National Engineers Week to increase public understanding and awareness of the engineering profession and various engineering disciplines and to introduce students to the array of engineering career possibilities. Founded in 1951, National Engineers Week is normally celebrated during the 3rd or 4th week of February. Typical activities include student day at The Engineers Club, Day With An Engineer (students in the work place), Engineers Week Awards Program, Engineers Week Reception for engineers and educators, Engineers Week speaker's luncheon, and The Maryland Engineering Challenge series.

Fireball: GJMEF Joint Committee
Coordinates the production of the annual winter black-tie fundraising party for the Garrett Jacobs Mansion Endowment Fund.

GJMEF Fall Fundraiser
Coordinates the production of the fall fundraising party and campaign for the benefit of the Garrett Jacobs Mansion Endowment Fund.

Garrett Jacobs Mansion Endowment Fund Trustees
Facilitates the preservation, restoration and renovation of the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion under direction of its own board of trustees as provided by its Charter, Bylaws and the Use and Option Agreement with the Engineers Club.

Education Foundation
Administers the scholarship fund under the direction of its own Trustees as provided in its Charter and Bylaws and works in collaboration with the Club Education Enrichment Committee to plan for the educational opportunities provided to Club members.

Centennial Committee
Promotes and plans activities in celebration of the 100 year anniversary of The Engineers Club starting winter of 2005.

Golf Tournament
Plans, organizes and coordinates the annual golf tournament with the purpose s of promoting camaraderie within the membership and raising funds in support of The Garrett-Jacobs Mansion.
