The Engineers Club and the Garrett Jacobs Mansion Endowment Fund have plans for improvements to the building to provide handicap access through a new second lobby on Peabody Mews, passenger elevator access to all levels of the Club and a wheelchair lift at the member private entrance. Until funding is secured for these improvements, access to the historic mansion is limited to use of a non-member area freight elevator and assistance by staff at the main entrance. The intent of this notice is to inform all potential users and guests of the building’s current limitations.
