The
Portico
Enter The Club through the main entrance and you tread the floor of Victorian
and Brown Wakefield Marble surrounded by mosaic tile and look up to a
ceiling of papier maché (looks just like pressed tin!). Columns
of Numidian marble flank the marble steps leading into the foyer. The
window, originally of Tiffany glass, was removed by the Boumi Temple,
former owners of the building. The clear glass window now affords us a
beautiful view of the Mt. Vernon Square.
